The Summer Hill Museum

The Summer Hill Museum brings the story of Summer Hill and the area and school's rich history to the Cartersville and Bartow County community (including both adult, school, and after-school program audiences). Through narrative and collections, the museum examines the formation and maintenance of community institutions and the contours of social and cultural life in Summer Hill, an historically black community that thrived in a racially divided America.
